MCC Boston is a church that believes strongly in the concept of inclusiveness — that everyone is equal in the eyes of God and a recipient of God's love. Because the wording of much traditional religious worship was developed in ways that perpetuate historic inequities, we have designed our liturgy to reflect our commitment to the equality of all persons.

In solidarity with persons in recovery, we use only grape juice in our Communion chalice. We practice an open Communion. You do not have to be a member of this church or of any church - it is God's table. If you wish to meet God, you are welcome. If you wish private prayer, our prayer ministers are available after each service.

Second Communion (social hour): After each service we have a time to visit and greet each other. All are welcome to stay and share. If you wish to bring food and/or assist at the table for a Sunday, please sign up on the list at the coffee hour table.
